A New Me Forever

Introducing ANewMeN2010... I'm 39 years old as of January 2010. I have two children and a soon to be grandchild. I must get fit this year to improve the quality of my life.

I've been struggling with myself for quite some time. My goal(s) this year is to finally accomplish the need to lose 70 lbs and keep it off. Braces for my teeth would be great to have this year too.

I'm taking one step at a time. Although I want to lose 100 pounds I'm striving to take it one goal ...

First goal: 40lbs. by July 25, 2010
Second goal: 30lbs. by Dec. 31, 2010
Third goal: 30 lbs. by July 25, 2011

My Goals:
1.) Lose 40 lbs. by 7/25/10 and feel better

2.) Get braces this year.

3.) Lose 30 lbs. more by 12/31/10 and feel even better

4.) Lose 30 lbs. more by 7/25/10 and feel my best ever

My Program:
I'm starting off slow and steady.

First I focus on drinking more water throughout the day while watching what I put in my mouth

Next, I follow-up what I put in my mouth by writing everything down and posting to SP.

Last, for now, I move more throughout the day. Be it walking for 10 min at a time without stopping, or doing stretching exercises for 10 min in the morning and /or at night.
