Getting healthy one step at a time...

My name is Elyse & I am 23 years old. I am married to the cutest guy on the planet!! We have 2 boxer mixes named Wendy and Jessie who I absolutely adore.

I have been on Spark People since 2009 and have yo-yoed for what seems like forever.....but that is all changing now :)

My goal is to lose 135 pounds throughout this next year all while adopting a lifestyle that I can keep up FOREVER! Throughout this journey I am learning to love who I am, love my life & learn along ...

working out DOES count for something!! Once you get the eating on track then youll see even more results! I know you can do it!!
I've actually been slacking on the eating and working out. I went to PA for my cousins wedding this past weekend, then my sister had her baby, and then ive been trying to keep up with my schedule so its been a little crazy. I packed my lunch today so hopefully i stay strong for dinner though lol
Hows this week been going for you? Got anything planned for the weekend?

Glad to see youre back for REALS hehehe :] I read your blog and I know you can do this!! I know what its like to have a busy life and try and stay focused and committed to this journey. Just gotta take it one day at a time and plan ahead as much as you can!!
I was doing really good and then this week just turned into a blahhhh week. I talked myself out of every workout and ate like crap a majority of the week. I know I'm not going to see results if I keep it up so I gotta keep reminding myself. I weigh in on Saturday so I'm not going to be at all surprised by my gain. Just gotta get back on track and get myself together :]

hey lady! hows june been going for you? I went to a wedding this past weekend and prolly gained about 10 lbs. But to be completely honest I havent been doing that great at all since June has started. Idk why Im not staying consistent when I know it works. Just gotta get it together. Have a great week :]

Well good for you for keeping your self control over the holiday weekend! I know i definitely didn't have any! that's my biggest struggle...its awful. But dont beat yourself up too much about the one pound...like you said maybe next week itll pay off more :]
what have you been doing workout wise?
