I'm Dawn, a wife and mother of a beautiful 2 year old girl. I'm trying to make permanent changes in my life that will enable me to be a healthier, happier mom, someone my daughter can be proud of. Right now I have a hard time keeping up with her, and I want to be able to play and run with her. So, I'm starting out slow and am hoping to make the lasting changes necessary.
Quick recap....In the last few months of 2010 I lost 60 lbs, met the goal of taking my daughter trick or treating, won first place in 2 fitness related challenges, and 2nd place in another. Those things motivate me and lift my spirit. In December I hit some roadblocks in my life, and I've gained back 10 of those lbs lost. But I'm getting back on track, and I'm going to tear it up this year!!!

Adapt to a fully vegan lifestyle
Be able to jog 1 mile or more by the end of the year
Get in 150 minutes of cardio a week
Get in 150 minutes of ST a week.
Do not go over my calories for even one day.
Staying within my calorie range of 1200-1800.
Tracking everything I eat, good or bad.
30 Min. of Strength Training everyday, rotating from upper, lower body and core.
At least 30 min. of Cardio 5 times a week.
At least 8 cups of water every day
I also try to get in at least 30 min. of Yoga at night.
I'm originally from Kansas, and that's where all my family still live. I've moved around a bit though, so I've lived in Georgia, Texas, Colorado, Oregon, and I'm now living in Illinois. I've been married for 8 years. I'm currently a stay at home mom, but I'm hoping to go back to work soon, just part time. I also would like to go back to school. I'm a pagan, but I don't follow any particular religion or set practice. I'm a pantheist. And I'm a Liberal, I usually vote Democrat, though I'm registered independent.
