Stuck Inside a Cloud

My name is Andrée. I'm in the 2nd year of my PhD., although I have put my studies on the backburner for now to focus on getting healthy.

For the 2012 Summer 5% Challenge I plan to
-Workout 5 times/week: 3X 30 min strength/30 min cardio, 1X 5K run, 1X home workout DVD
-I will cut down on grazing throughout the day and only eat 3 meals and 2 snacks when possible
-I will weigh-in on Wednesdays
-I will interact on the message board as much as I can manage

My Goals:
I just want to be fit and healthy. How you feel means so much more than just numbers.

My Program:
Women's Health running plan for beginners; run 4/week, strenth training 2/week (min)
Home workout DVD (usually Jillian Michaels) 1-2/week

Personal Information:
I have a BSc in Forensic Science and Anthropology and an MSc in Human Osteology and Archaeology.
Obviously I'm interested in forensics, bones, archaeology, and funerary rituals. I`m hoping to continue my studies in human osteology.

I also love music (a wide variety including the Beatles, Metallica and Beethoven), reading, playing the piano, and crafting (especially knitting).

Thanks for your comment on my blog. You're right that I shouldn't totally discount a recent doctor graduate. There are definitely benefits to new knowledge, but I still like a few years of experience, too. But with the doctor shortage, I may not have much of a choice. :-)

Oops! Well, belated happy Canada Day - I didn't see anything on your page to let me know you were Canadian! I guess making mistakes is one way to get to know fellow team members better!

Andree-- OK, that sucks about the scars on crack! I sure hope that thing drains soon and you can avoid a lancing! I know how painful those things can be! Sending you healing vibes! Your areas of study are interesting to me. I suppose you have read Kathy Reichs' books? Take care! Melissa
