Starting over, one more time

I remember when I had gestational diabetes, I decided I should try to always stay under 200#, because I would be at high risk for diabetes if I got over that.
I am 211#. My HbA1c is 6.9. And I started metformin last night.
I am trying to be positive. This is a good chance to make good lifestyle changes I know I need.

You are doing great! Don't forget that muscle weighs more than fat so just because the scale didn't move or you gained doesn't mean you aren't making progress. Losing 5 inches is wonderful, so you are definitely doing the right things. Keep it up and you will see the scale move too!
