Today is Day One

"Remember: All that counts is how you do today. Take it day by day and those days will add up in the long run."

I'm focusing only on being good to myself TODAY. I know if I am patient and put forth an effort to change for the better what I do TODAY, I will meet my end goal, no matter how long it takes!

My coping mechanism (eating) needs to be changed; the resulting fat hurts me, both figuratively and literally. Overeating has me 60 pounds overweight as of Jan 1, 2014.

My Program:
My program is a sound one: Tracking what I eat, paying attention to serving sizes, focusing on eating whole foods instead of processed/pre-packaged foods, and exercising regularly. So why is it so hard for me to follow my own advice?

Personal Information:
I'm 43 and too young to be old and fat. I want to be a confident strong woman instead of a woman withering inside an overweight and unhealthy body.

Other Information:
I must remember to pray every day for God's strength to get me through. I am taking action to restore the athletic body He blessed me with.

Hello my friend,,,, just wanted to let you know that meatless February went pretty well for the most part,,,,, I did not eat meat until February 23 because I happen to have guest over .... I taught my friend how to make German food,,,,, yum,,,, BUT most of my favorite German food centers on meat,,, and good meat! Unfortunately I did not quite make it but on the positive side,,, I started juicing,,, making my own juices and I love it..... I bought a juicer for $20 bucks (garage sale,,, still in box) and started juicing those pesky veggies that I don't really care for and added a little fruit ..... so I did learn something. BUT on the weight loss front,,, still cannot get myself motivated!!! I am finally going to start this week,,, moving,,,, I sit all day at work that I cannot get my metabolism moving,,,, I was very inspired by your photo of SWEAT! LOL THAT was really awesome!!!! emoticon emoticon

I ate way too much this weekend also...I feel like Wednesday's weigh in may unfortunately be me just fighting to stay even on the scale. Top that off with I'm coming down with some kind of flu or cold or something today...

I really like your goal to fit in your jeans, Great Non-scale goal to meet!
