Sweaty proof that I'm working hard to get rid of this double-chin and the love handles!

The lumpy backside that I am committed to change. No looking back...(pun intended)

Today is Day One

"Remember: All that counts is how you do today. Take it day by day and those days will add up in the long run."

I'm focusing only on being good to myself TODAY. I know if I am patient and put forth an effort to change for the better what I do TODAY, I will meet my end goal, no matter how long it takes!

My coping mechanism (eating) needs to be changed; the resulting fat hurts me, both figuratively and literally. Overeating has me 60 pounds overweight as of Jan 1, 2014.

My Goals:
Lose 60 lbs of fat.

Friday is my weigh-in day, so my weeks are broken down as Sat - Fri.

Yearly Summary:
Jan: -8.6 lb, -6.75"
Feb: -4.6 lb, -3.25"
Mar: +1.4 lb, no measure
Apr: No idea. Probably gain.
May: No idea. Certain gain.

My Program:
My program is a sound one: Tracking what I eat, paying attention to serving sizes, focusing on eating whole foods instead of processed/pre-packaged foods, and exercising regularly. So why is it so hard for me to follow my own advice?

Personal Information:
I'm 43 and too young to be old and fat. I want to be a confident strong woman instead of a woman withering inside an overweight and unhealthy body.

Other Information:
I must remember to pray every day for God's strength to get me through. I am taking action to restore the athletic body He blessed me with.

I weighed in today, no change....still at 160. Guess I'm going to be pushing hard the rest of the week!

I weighed in this morning, so my official weigh in numbers for the "March Vacation Swimsuit-Readiness Challenge" = 160. Okay 160...You're going DOWN!! emoticon

You're on! My weigh in days are Wednesdays, so this is perfect. What a great challenge, this will be the first year I might actually look forward to bathing suit shopping!
