Today is Day One

"Remember: All that counts is how you do today. Take it day by day and those days will add up in the long run."

I'm focusing only on being good to myself TODAY. I know if I am patient and put forth an effort to change for the better what I do TODAY, I will meet my end goal, no matter how long it takes!

My coping mechanism (eating) needs to be changed; the resulting fat hurts me, both figuratively and literally. Overeating has me 60 pounds overweight as of Jan 1, 2014.

ANDREAG89 said when waking up to walk so early: "Can I do this for the rest of my life?" The good side of me interfered with "You don't have to do it for the rest of your life. You just have to do it today."

My Program:
My program is a sound one: Tracking what I eat, paying attention to serving sizes, focusing on eating whole foods instead of processed/pre-packaged foods, and exercising regularly. So why is it so hard for me to follow my own advice?

Personal Information:
I'm 43 and too young to be old and fat. I want to be a confident strong woman instead of a woman withering inside an overweight and unhealthy body.

Other Information:
I must remember to pray every day for God's strength to get me through. I am taking action to restore the athletic body He blessed me with.

Hi! I have 19 more days until I see my parents. I facetimed with them though last week and my dad told me I looked "narrower" so I fessed up and told them I had lost a bunch of weight, so it's not going to be the surprise like I had planned...oh well. My parents were very excited for me over the phone.

Don't worry about March, it's the start of a new month! Remember our 6 pound monthly goal, we have our vacations coming up girl! I went bathing suit shopping last week and my thunder thighs were LAUGHING at me! Let's attack our goals!
