A bit about me
Still trying to get my weight under control. I have just changed doctors and think that having my meds looked at should be quite significant in figuring out why it is so impossible for me to maintain my weigtht at a healthy weight. I have been as low as 160 as an adult but I'm reaching for 140 this time. Sparkpeople has really helped me to become more aware of my health. I have been as low as 160 as an adult but I'm reaching for 140 this time. Sparkpeople has really helped me to become more aware of my health. I have made it a point to change my lifestyle, my eating habits and the way I view myself. I have a lot of work to do in self care. I'm too heavy, have recently been feeling the effects of arthritis as well as the migraines. Just a minute, the migraines themselves aren't new just the frequency and intensity. While neither of these condition is caused by my weight, it is an aggravating factor. I am truly grateful that I have Spark in my life.

My Goals:
My main goal is to lose 100 pounds. I have others, such as improving my ability to stay asleep and just becoming healthier, but I think the weight loss will help everything.
My Program:
I am watching what I eat, working out both at home and at the gym when I am able and swimming. I am now commiting to working out 3 days at the gym and doing cardio every other day.
Personal Information:
I'm from Sacramento, and I and went to college in San Francisco where I joined a gym and lost 70 pounds. That did wonders for my health and self image. I am back to about where I was at gym and trying just as hard to lose the weight again plus 30 pounds.
Other Information:
I love cats and other people's children. I say other people's children because I have none of my own as of yet.
