we got a new leader yesterday, and she's been at goal for 20 years. she says 2 french fries is 1 point. that's one of the few ways I can eat regular potatos (texture issues, I don't understand it but whatever) - and that makes me want to give up fries.
I gained 1.2 pounds this week, but I kind of expected it - actually, I'm surprised that's ALL I gained. but it's a new week, now, and there's no reason I can't do better. we cleared all the bread out of the house, except for two loaves of rye, so hopefully that helps out some. and we've got no goodies - no cookies or cake or anything, so that should help out too.

yeah, this week's been hard. dunno, for some reason I've so been craving bread. I'll hafta clear everything out of my house and just have rye bread from now on, at least that you hafta chew on for a while. :) I know I won't lose anything this week, I just hope I didn't gain too much!
if you get to a meeting, try to stay after (if you can, that is!) for the first three - they've got an additional like 10-15 minute mini meeting for new members, and there's three parts to it. they're pretty helpful, even if you don't really learn anything during the meeting and just use the little pamphlet they hand you for tracking your food for the week. it's a little bigger than the usual one, so if you write a little larger, or write each item on a new line like I do, it comes in handy. and the three part extra thing repeats every week, from what I understand. 1703 days ago
so how've you been doing? I haven't been feeling all that great lately, so I haven't really been on much. I gained about a half pound my first week, but lost two the next, and hopefully today will be another loss of some kind, even though I haven't really been eating all that well. 1709 days ago
