My name is Andi and I'm 21. I've been over weight my whole life and decided that it's time to shape up. Every year I say I'll get in shape for summer but summer comes and no change. If anything, I gain weight not lose it. I decided to make this year my year. I don't know what sparked this change but I am ready for a body/lifestyle makeover and this time I'm sticking with it. Since I'm just entering the bar scene I don't wanna always go out feeling like the fat friend everyone brought along for a good laugh. People say that personality is more important than looks but I want my looks to match my personality.

My Goals:
-Wear whatever I want (or nothing) and feel confident
-Wear jeans in a single digit size
-Run/Walk a 5K
-Gain some serious self confidence
-Get my body bikini ready
-Do more outdoor activities this summer
-Take control of my life and good care of it cuz we only have one!

My Program:
I've turned into a calorie counting Queen and go to the gym 5 mornings a week for 90 min. I also meet with a personal trainer three times a week. I'm running about 15 miles a week and lifting weights. plus drinking a gallon and a half of water a day.

Personal Information:
I couldn't imagine living anywhere else than Colorado. I am 21 and loving it! I have a boyfriend who I've been seeing for a few months and two dogs that I consider my kids practically. I'm currently going to Med school and am enrolled in the dental program at the PIMA medical institute.

Other Information:
Finding foods I like is my biggest problem because I've always been a junk food junkie and extremely Anti-vegetables. If there was something that was the opposite of a vegetarian, I would be it. I also am very busy so convenient food is all am able to eat. My day usually consists of getting up at 5:30am for the gym, from the gym straight to work (after a shower of course) at 9am to 5pm then school mon -thurs. from 5:30pm to 10pm. By the time I get home it is nearly 11pm and bedtime so that I can barely get in 7hours of sleep just to wake up and do it all over again. Frozen dinners like Lean Cuisine, Smart Ones, and South Beach (especially southbeach) make up my dinner about 4 or 5 nights a week. The sodium doesn't seem to be a problem though and I have still been losing weight regardless.
