I'm Allison, I'm 25, and I'm from CT.

I lost about 15 lbs. last summer with help from a dietician. I'd like to lose more, but it's hard to stay motivated. I've been looking for work for a year now, so it's frustrating, and I don't always feel good about myself.

I went to the gym more this summer, but I couldn't make it a habit. Some weeks I would exercise for three or four days, and other weeks, not at all.

Right now I'm trying the new SparkCoach program ...

Right now I'm trying the new SparkCoach program to see if that will help me. I'm also tracking with friends at myfitnesspal.com. I still come to SparkPeople for information--articles, quizzes, trivia, etc. I've learned a lot from this site. I'd also like to see my dietician again at some point.

I get frustrated at being "stuck" in my progress, but I have to remind myself that there was a time I was convinced that I couldn't get down to the weight I am now. Also, I've been able to do gym classes this year that before I would have thought I'd never be able to do (even if I can't do them perfectly. ;)

So I try to remember how far I've come and be positive about that. :)

My Goals:
1. Track my food each day on MyFitnessPal and try to stay on or under my 1600 calorie daily allowance.

2. Exercise at least 5X/week for at least 20-30 minutes.

3. Lose 1-2 lbs per week most weeks.

Current goal: To be back down to 194 lbs. by Sept. 26.

Biggest inspiration: My friends Katie and Amanda. :) They're on a weight-loss journey too, and they've made so much progress. I'd like to be as dedicated to my well-being as they are to theirs.
