Getting there

I came here after taking decades to go from young, thin, and aerobically fit to old, fat, and out of shape. Now I'm a little older, back in the normal weight range, and able to have an active life without huffing and puffing. 40 pounds down, 30 to go.

My Goals:
In 2010 I went from obese (215 lbs) and sedentary to barely overweight (175 lbs) and swimming regularly. In 2011, I gradually slacked off on swimming, gained 10 pounds and then lost 15 on the stress diet. In 2012, I meant to lose another 20 or 30 pounds but mostly held steady. For 2013, try #3.

My Program:
Calorie counting, lap swimming, walking, drinking water.

Thanks for the blog comment. You're totally right - there are SO many things that could cause fatigue. I think if it does get solved, it will never be back to the way it was before, and I'll always have this slight exhaustion going on. But we keep on pushing on!

40 pounds! Excellent!

As for me, I gained it all back when I was pregnant. Then I lost about half of it after giving birth, then I gained all that back too. So here I am again, ready to get back to the pre-baby weight.
