Shared Fitness Tracker
Hi! I live in Washington State, am married, work full time and take care of my mom who moved in with us.
As I child, I was slightly chubby. I remember visiting a relative in the summer and while we were all walking at the park, this relative said that I needed to jog so I would lose weight. Later, in high school, I overheard someone whispering to my mom, "why is Diana so fat?". At that time, I weighed 123 pounds.
I joined my first gym when I was 19 years old and weighed 118 pounds. However, despite the fact that I never stopped exercising throughout my adult life, I often made poor food choices and my weight steadily climbed to the low 140's where I stayed for awhile. Then, after I graduated from college in 1994 and got a desk job, I immediately gained 15 pounds. I gradually lost that and got down to 138 pounds for my wedding in 1999. Since then, my weight gradually went up again and when I reached 158 pounds, I said this has to stop. At 5'3", I knew it wouldn't be healthy for me to continue gaining.
I am happy to say that I never went past 158lbs, but I stayed in the 150's for several years. It wasn't until Dec 25, 2011, weighing in at 152 pounds, that I recommitted myself to seriously work on my fitness. I got a BodyMedia armband to measure my calorie burn and I began counting calories. I started drinking Shakeology. In May, 2012, I began Les Mills Pump. When I completed that program 90 days later, my weight had dropped to 142 pounds.
Keep in mind, that prior to LMP, I always exercised, either at the gym or at home. In 2010, I did ChaLEAN Extreme and this is where I learned to lift using heavier weights. However, I still wasn't losing weight as I wasn't paying attention to my nutrition as well as I should have been.
Today as I write this, (Dec 20, 2012) I remain in the low 140's. My goal for 2013 is to get into the 130's and to tone up and get stronger.
I feel that I have the exercise part down as I still continue working out 5 to 6 times per week. Right now, I am doing both Body Beast and Les Mills Combat. But I do need to work on my nutrition more and I plan on starting Ultimate Reset in January 2013 so that I can learn more about clean eating.
I truly enjoy talking to others about their fitness challenges and goals and believe in the Online Support System. Even before becoming a Beachbody Coach, I have been active on many online groups and message boards in giving and receiving advice, support and motivation. Please feel free to contact me at anytime as I am always looking to meet people who are committed to health and fitness!
I also have a Facebook group called Believe We Can Achieve. If you would like to join a great group of people to talk about your diet, exercise or any health struggles that you are having, please join this group. It's a private place where we can just hang out and talk about our own personal challenges and what works for us. Since it is a private group, we all feel safe in being open and honest on what we say as we may not want to share everything with all of our other Facebook Friends
I am also a Beachbody coach. Please check out their products and let me know if you have any questions.
My website address is: http://beachbodycoach.com/mjunebug.
I would like to get toned and strong!!
I usually exercise 30 to 45 minutes in the morning before work. Right now, Body Beast is my main program and I am also adding in Slim in 6 and Body Gospel into my workout rotation. I am looking very forward to receiving LMP Combat soon.

Welcome to Spark. You have taken an important step on your journey by joining!
I've been a member a little over 3 years. I made fantastic progress and lost 100 pounds in the first year BUT I became careless about nutrition and exercise and have gained a lot of the pounds back! I became disgusted with myself and closed my Spark account, but soon realized I NEEDED to be here. I'm back using the nutrition and exercise trackers now - they are so important. The sense of community and the friendships I have made here keep me going!
Explore the site, make your Sparkpage if you havenít, join teams, and make friends. You will find this site an amazing place full of encouragement, inspiration, advice, and support.
Please let me know if there is anything I can help you with.
