I am a happily married, Mom of 3 great kids! I love my life and my family, but I do NOT love my current weight, nor the way I look, nor the way I feel physically. I have battled this my whole life, but I am as big as I have ever been and I am now a diabetic. I will be 46 in February, and I am really starting to feel like a ticking time bomb. Really not sure how many birthdays I will have left if I continue on this way. I am getting to the point where I am scared every day of dropping of a heart attack or stroke or not waking up one day!! I love my kids and my husband SO much and I do not want to leave him a widow and them without a mother. I struggle daily with staying on-track, mostly because I have been "dieting" my whole life, tried everything under the sun short of surgery (including SparkPeople), and am just plain sick of it!! I need to see results...I need daily motivation...I need for eating healthy to be something I can learn to enjoy, not something that is chore. I am looking forward to trying this again, and I hope to get my husband on board with me too!! I also hope I will make a few good friends along the way!!!
Well, it had been my grand plan to lose this weight BEFORE turning 40, but that fell to the wayside. Now, a dear friend has motivated me to pick myself back up and get back on the horse! Now I will just lose it before turning 44!! I have 3 beautiful kids that I want to see grow up!!! So far as my shorter term goals, I want to lose 50, just because that is a more reasonable number for me to start!!

I love my family--we do almost everything together!! I love music, especially JOSH GROBAN! I love pets! Especially dachshunds (I have 4!!) I love to paint! I recently had 3 of my paintings accepted into a local gallery, and actually sold one about 3 weeks ago!! =)
