Thank you Amy! My day is great even though it is only 9:30 in the morning!
Gardens are watered, poles im for climbing beans, beans soaking ready for planting, deer proofed the yard (spraying a egg and water mix with a dash of liquid soap) dishes are done, house is swept, bed is made and the rest of the day is mine, mine, mine! and it is a beautiful sunny day !
your comment about your dog... made me think of my last dog. Her name was kayla, and from my understanding that is the name of a weather god in Eskimoe though I have never had this confirmed, just something my aunt shared with me at that time I was naming my pets
Anyways, it turned out to be a very good name for her. You could always know what the weather was about by watching her ...she shivered and shook when it going to and all the time during the rain. She cowered under the bed when there was going to be thunder and lightning......sunny days would find her in the hottest spot in the yard panting her face off, nothing could entice her to the shade! Consequently I doused her down with the hose several times a day in the summer, which she didnt mind at all but she hated to go swimming...go figure....she was a funny dog .
