My New Lifestyle

Well, looking at pictures has done the trick for me. Wow. I am committed to losing about 100 lbs. I am starting with a goal of 60 lbs by August, when school is back in. I am off to a great start.

Thank you DZYNRCHIC for recommending Leslie Sansone. I purchased the Five Mile Walk at Sam's Club, a fancy pair of cross trainers, and I found some motivation. Three weeks later, I have ordered three more videos, including a Pilates Video, and I can't wait for them to arrive. I still find exercising during the week a challenge, but three days is better than none.

I also purchased the SparkPeople Cook Book. I have made some of the most amazing foods. My husband and my friends are in shock that the meals are made from whole grains, lean proteins, and veggies. The stuff is healthy! Who knew!

To all of you wanting a healthier lifestyle-IT IS NOT TOO LATE. Get off the couch and out of the drive through lane. After just three weeks of healthier eating and walking at home, I am down 12 lbs. My resting heart rate is down. My blood pressure is down. There is a 26 in front of the scale and not a 28. In three weeks!

Please look at other's pages. They are full of ideas, motivation, and INSPIRATION. My inspiration is the trips we've taken and the hunting I want to do in the fall-that is what you see in the pictures. What's your inspiration? Thank the Lord for SparkPeople!

1) Get up and MOVE.

My Program:
1) Leslie Sansone Walking videos at least 4 times per week.
2) Maintain 1200 calories per day.
3) Drink Water (yuck).

Personal Information:
I love to teach! I love to travel! I love my husband! I love my pets! I won't be around for much longer to love these things-I have to do this!
