Welcome to my Spark page!

It's been a while since I last updated this, so it is much needed. I'm 29 (30 in a few months), I have a wonderful husband (most of the time), and the sweetest almost 5yr old daughter in the entire world! (at least I think so!) I gained a lot of weight with my pregnancy, but have to admit I haven't been "skinny" since I was a little kid. SP has definitely helped me not only lose my "baby weight," but has also helped me stay motivated to hit my initial goal of 165! Since then I have gained a little over 25 of it back. I have found the first time and then this past semester. I just finished up my first semester of RN school and am sad to say I gained 15lbs. BUT I am about to be 30 and I think I Have wasted enough time being heavier than I wanted to be so I am bound and determined to head into 30 looking and feeling better and then to continue on my journey to the healthiest/best me I can be.

When I started college I was going to major in sports medicine. I have taken exercise and nutrition classes. I have had these tools available to me I just chose not to utilize them. Having my daughter really made me realize that I need to set an example for her. Although ultimately I am doing this for myself she is a big inspiration for me every day.

1/30: 200 -accomplished
3/6: 190 -accomplished (actually 188!!)
3/22: 185 -accomplished
4/10: 180 -accomplished

3/5: 165 -accomplished (even if it took me until 4/9)

(That's right I gained some of it back, but that's why I'm here again)

1/27: 180 --Motivation: Just to be away from 190!
2/17: 174 --Motivation: Someone's 5th Birthday
3/24: 164 --Motivation: Watch out 30, here I come!
4/28: 155 --Motivation: Getting a head start for SUMMER

Main goal: Slim down, shape up, and don't ever stop working towards being the best me I can be

My Goals:
To get up in the morning and start my day with exercise

To lose the 15lbs I gained last semester.

To lose 25lbs by my 30th birthday!

To hit my goal weight by summer 150-145.

Find balance between family, school, and me

To incorporate both cardio and strength training into my routine so I'm not just "skinny" but I am strong

I also want to keep myself healthy and make sure I can always run around with my daughter!
