Amy's Weight Loss Journey

I have been sitting on my rump for the last 10 years saying..."I'm going to get healthy and fit again." I would try a program, join an activity, and then just lose interest. My weight has fluctuated from 185 to 260 lbs over these ten years and my overall goal in 2 years is to be 175lbs and maintain it.

Welcome to Spark! I just joined as well but started my weight loss process in May of 2012 as well. You seem a lot like me. Im 33 and with two small girls I have decided now is the time to FINALLY lose the weight! I am determined and ready to shed the pounds. Good Luck! emoticon

emoticon Saw your post and wanted to come on over and welcome you to our wonderful world of sparkpeople emoticon

I have a hard time getting my kids (11, 4 and 2) to eat good for them stuff too. I've had to make a lot of dinners when I shred veggies up and sneak them in. They loved all the dinners so I decided not to rain on their parade and tell them they are actually eating things like squash and zucchini! Hubby doesn't know either :)
