I'm 31 years old, living just outside of Philadelphia, PA.
Hey I have to say 19 pounds since December is pretty awesome. I have 10 pounds lost since December! I readjusted my weight loss goal to .5 lbs per week. I am not in a race against anyone. I am looking to make this a lasting weight loss and I think for the first time I am realizing .5 lbs a week is 2-2.5 lbs a month and I am okay with that. I took me 4 years to accept I will not be able to lose 2 pounds every week. BUT I can lose .5 lbs every week. I really really really want this to work out this time. And I don't have to pay too much attention to the calorie aspect if I am only aiming for .5 lbs a week. Slowly but surely I WILL do it :-)
I think you could do it. 5 lbs a month is totally doable. You are a super busy mom and it is awesome you have time at all to put towards your weight loss!
