Getting Serious!

My weight has always been a constant struggle for me. During middle school and high school I was overweight. It was not until college that I discovered my love of working out and the weight slowly came off. Ever since I lost the majority of my weight, I always seem to come back to 135 lbs. However, I don't like the way I look at that weight. I used making the cut to get down to 127, and am now trying to maintain exercising 5-6 days a week. My weight has always been a constant struggle for me. During middle school and high school I was overweight. It was not until college that I discovered my love of working out and the weight slowly came off. Ever since I lost the majority of my weight, I always seem to come back to 135 lbs. However, I don't like the way I look at that weight. I used making the cut to get down to 127, and am now trying to maintain exercising 5-6 days a week. Currently I have fallen in love with running and am training for my first 1/2 marathon in the beginning of Oct. I find running so rewarding. Though I have great motivation for working out, my diet is my downfall. I love sweets and am not a fan of vegetables. My goal is to clean up my diet and give it the proper fuel it needs to run a half marathon.

My Program:
For the past couple of years I have been good about working out. For me working out is addictive and if I don't do it, I feel gross about myself. My diet on the other hand is terrible. I don't eat many fatty foods, but I do eat mostly sugar. Seriously 1/2 my diet or more is sugar. I plan on jump starting my program with Making the cut to help me rid myself of sugar and hopefully lose weight so I appear more tone. I am now training for a half marathon and am running every chance I get.
