Well, here I am again! I'm 210 pounds and would like to get down to 135...eventually! I am starting out slowly thought, making a short term goal of losing 25 pounds by the end of this year.

My motivation this time is my daughter, Sarah, who has joined Sparkteens to lose weight and has asked my husband, Chris, and I to do it with her for moral support.

I've been putting off losing the weight because I really can't stand the idea of controlling every single portion ...

I've been putting off losing the weight because I really can't stand the idea of controlling every single portion of every single food I eat. However, I know it's unhealthy to be this heavy and I do have high cholesterol problems, along with other health issues, so it will do me some good to lose the weight.

My Goals:
I just would like to lose the weight I gained, get to my goal and be able to maintain without having to battle my cravings so much. I also wish to find more motivation to exercise.

My Program:
I am going to try to exercise for at least 30 minutes, 6 times a week and avoid in-between-meal snacking.

Yeah, it's hard to say no to food when there are so many things that taste so good. But I am doing a LITTLE better with consistency. I'm encouraged to have come as far as I have, and it gives me hope to continue. -Shel

Wow! You did it once, so you know you can do it again. Spark has the tools to change the way you look at a lot of things so it helps you to keep the weight off once it's gone.

We all fall off the wagon at times, but the trick is to keep on climbing back on. Good luck with your weight loss journey!
