Summer 2013

I ran my first-ever 1/2 marathon on May 26th with a time of 2:17:53.

I am very happy to not only reach my 1/2 marathon goal, but to also beat the time I was shooting for (I wanted to be under 2 1/2 hours).

I am looking forward to an active summer and to possibly signing up for another half in the fall.

Thanks for the encouragement! I do still have hope, but am putting it aside for now. I was even high when I weighed 25# less and was running daily! Ridiculous, really! I think it is just genetic. I ran high as a kid even.

I am! I added you as a friend here. I need to get my butt up and get training, been so tired! Could be a million things, just have to make myself do something in the meantime. I love trails, and we had already talked about it. I am slower than you, never fear!! What counts is beating yourself and pushing yourself to do better, I think!
