I am a 25 (almost 26) year old senior music ed major in college. I have been in school FOREVER and am ready to graduate and get on with my life. I was really active when I was in high school and once I graduated I just never got it back. I've done weight watchers before and another site where you track your food. I always do well with it, I just need to stick to it!!

This time around I'm feeling good about it. Good results so far. I have a lot of support so that's always ...

Hey Amanda,

I love, love, love the challenge that running gives me, but there are days when I would love to do anything but run. However, there is something about lacing up my shoes and heading out the door, just me, my iPod and my thoughts. I do a lot of thinking, problem solving, blog writing, you name I have probably done it during my runs. If you have a passion for what you do, nothing will keep you away from it.

When I started I used to say I would only run for 10 minutes and if I wanted to stop I gave myself permission to do so...funny thing is, once you go out for 10 minutes, it would still take me another 10 to get back (LOL!)...BAM...There you have it 20 minutes, but more times than not, just getting past the 10 minutes is all it took.

I wish you well! HAPPY SPARK RUNNING!

Nancy

Thanks for asking, I just had my annual procedure at hospital, however my mom is in hospital since Wed. morning, she has heart problems and right now is in alot of pain, but don't know what is going on. She was supposed to go for surgery next week to have a defibilator inserted.

Been very stressful as I live 1500 miles away and my sister must do everything.

Girl - it was chilly for that run...until I started running, then it mysteriously got hotter :) Of course today is an AWESOME weather day!!!

Thank you for adding me as a friend! It looks like we have similar starting and goal weights. It is always great to meet new people!!! (and a Red Sox fan makes it even better!)

Thank you for the positive comments on my blog! Great job to you too on passing up the bread!!!! emoticon That is always the hardest thing to do (that and the darn tortilla chips when you are out eating Mexican). It takes willpower and strength to turn those away, so kudos to you!!!!
