"Success is going from failure to failure without a loss of enthusiasm."

I'm 25 and have been on Spark now for about 6 months. In my first 6 months I accomplished a lot. I lost about 10 pounds and went from being a coach potato to running my first 5k, then with great success I ran my first 10k, 3 months later. I have achieved a lot. However, after my success I forgot that the most important thing about getting healthy and fit means never stopping. So after 2 months of what I would consider "light" working out I am back up 8 pounds. I'm not proud of this. BUT I know I can still run 5k and even 10k so I am back and this time I'm not leaving. Being healthy is a lifestyle and I miss it. I will run the first 10k of the season in April and it WILL be a success.

So here's to staying moving in the right direction. I have a new buddy to gym with and she's counting on me to keep her going. I wont let her down and most importantly I will not let myself down.

What I have learned is that I love to run (as hard as it is) so I should keep going. I'm proud when I tell people I run and my friends are more then proud of me to tell others as well. It's worth it and I'm worth it.

My Goals:
My goal is more about loosing inches then weight. I would like to loose 15 pounds, but realistically if I stayed the same weight but lost 2 dress sizes I would be thrilled.

My Program:
I'm working out with a friend at least 3 times a week. 2 1hour cardio classes and at least 30mins of running, plus at least 1 yoga class. I'm also shooting to run at least 20kms a week. I finished training for a 10k over the summer so I know I can do this.

Personal Information:
I'm 25 and have a wonderful supportive boyfriend who lives 3 hours away. I'm doing my best to stay healthy for me and for him. I'm at an age where I will be having children soon and I want to be healthy enough to have them and I want to have good habits to teach them so that staying healthy and fit isn't as hard for them as it has been for me.

Other Information:
I love Photography. Some day it will be my meal ticket.

    Welcome to the 28 day bootcamp group! I'm a runner also and recently got over an injured back. I didn't run the majority of last year because of it and gained about 20 pounds because of it. Iif you're on facebook there's a group called Run 1000 miles this year that is absolutely wonderful. You don't necessarily have to run 1000 miles (I didn't last year) but they're great to vent to and share successes with. Good luck with your weight loss endeavors. emoticon

    Way to go! Its really hard when your injured, but great that you jumped right back in!

    Things are ok here. I hurt my knee and most likely will not be running my marathon now. :/ I am going to take TOM week to pout and then get back on track for the weight loss. It seems like I lose and gain, lose and gain. I dont gain it all back, and I lose more each time, but I need to be more consistent in the loss area!
