Starting the 2nd week in March 2012 I have been gettting up at 4am on my work days and doing zumba before work. I has been 6 weeks now and I feel awesome. It really does help keep me on track the rest of the day.

My Goals:
I would love to get to my goal of 130 by the date spark people has set for me, I am sure going to try hard for it.

My Program:
Just trying to stick between 1200 - 1500 calories and work out 60 mins 3 days a week with my ea active sports on my wii.
I watch my calories
carbohydrates, fats, protiens and fiber. I try to hit the goal range on each one of those. Some days its hard, others much easier. I TRY to eat the same meals everyday only changing my main meal which is my lunch. This helps me keep on track much better. I do give myself a cheat meal either once a week or every other week. I feel like it keeps my body from getting used to the same routine. I work graveyard shift so I alter my meals around my work schedule.

Personal Information:
I am from TN, I do glass carving and etching as a hobby. I love corgis and I have 3 of them, they are my children since my child is all grown up. They now get spoiled.

Other Information:
My favorite books are the left behind series. The twilight series, Love anything true crime, ghost stories. or anything paranormal.

Hi Katy. I joined a couple of Spark Challenges to keep me accountable. I joined the 5% Spring Challenge and also the Sweeet tooth Challenge for cutting down on sugar. I also quit smoking today so now I have a lot to do when I come to Spark and I have team members counting on me and I belong to the Virtual Weighin Team and I weighin once a week for that. When I know someone else is going to see my weight losses and gains, I am more inspired to try harder. Mayybe you could find a challenge that suits you on one of your teams or join a team with a challenge going to join in. Good luck this week coming. I am really trying to stick to my plan. I hope you will too. Let me know what you think about all this.Hold on , okay. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Wow! Zumba M-F! I really love Zumba. For a while they had Zumba twice a week with Curves and also offer Zumba classes in town. I also have a Zumba DVD. However, I line dance 1-2 hours 3 x a week and do Curves 2 x a week in addition to 1 hour walk with the dog every day. I have been too exhausted to get Zumba back in. I need to sneak it in during the weekend! Keep taking good care of yourself. Hugs, Laurel (South Texas) emoticon

Hi Katy -
Hope you're having a good day! How's your menu coming for Thanksgiving day? Make sure you have plenty of veggies to help fill you up. I'm even going to make mashed cauliflower along with mashed potatoes so I don't have to eat the potatoes. It's quite good.
