Hi, I'm Amy. I started SparkPeople as a way to help me during a work-related contest (somewhat like "The Biggest Looser"). I may not have been the overall biggest looser, but this site really helped me realize what I was putting into my body with all the junk food I've been eating.

I'm trying to make a few perminent lifestyle changes and stay motivated. So hearing advice on what worked or continues to work for others would be great!

Fitness Minutes: 30

My Goals:
I have so many goals for myself now...

1. Don't burn myself out - I've had the tendancy to be a bit impusive in the past with diet and exersize and I've vowed not to do that to myself again.

2. Find people who will help motivate me so I stay on track and don't get lazy.

3. To not give into tempting sweets... all the time. I've been know to eat anything put in front of me.


My Program:
To stay true to my goals...

1. I will walk or play with my dog, Coco Crisp, at least two to three times a week to start. I will add on a workout tapes at least once a week to this and add on to that when it feels right. I feel this is starting extremely slow for me, but I also feel this will help me stick with it. And Coco will be happy too!

2. Some of my "Biggest Looser" teamates are still keeping with the program. I plan on comunicating with them more. I also hope I can find a friend or two on here who might have some pointers as well. You can never have too many.

3. This is where my will power will be put to the test. I've been named "Captain Sweets" by my family so it won't be an easy task for me. I will not be cutting sweets from my life, I will just be limiting them and also looking for healthier options.
