2009 Update

Once again it is time for me to update everyone on how my journey has been going. Through the holidays (and some before) my eating habits became pretty poor and I was making tons of unhealthy food choices. Since the new year, I have cleaned up my eating and have went back to lots of fresh fruits and veggies.

My exercise routine became burdened with the hustle of the holidays and I was finding it hard to get much into my busy schedule. Like my diet, I got things back on track after the first of the year and try to get exercise in at least 5 times a week and strength train in 3 times. I've been working hard and getting cardio in twice some days.

I feel great and wished I wouldn't have let myself slip through the end of 2008. It's amazing what healthy eating and exercise can do for a body.

How's the training going? I thought about you last night when I ate a bowl of kashi AFTER 7pm! Yikes. LOL I picked up a copy of "the eat clean diet" this weekend and have so far found it motivating. :) Take care!
