Amie--I truly feel for you! My name is Tricia--originally from Riverside, California, I'm 24 and my husband and I have 2 little ones--Evelyn 5 and Maverick 2. My husband is getting ready to attend the California Police Academy up in Sacramento, California--all while I'm down here on the Colorado River in Arizona all by my lonesome with two kids--trapped in our home and limited places to go. It's a small town, and I don't have family out here. So I sympathize with your stress--I'm going through the exact same thing. I, too am fighting to lose the baby-weight--and its hard! It's summer here and our highs hit 120-30 degrees! It's too hot to workout sometimes--and by the end of a very long day with two lil ones--exercise is the LAST thing I'm thinking about.
However--that being said. I squeeze in some. Most recently, we've been going to the pool. My daughter is old enough to swim, so I put my son in a ring-floaty and I walk laps around the pool for him for about 30-60 depending how cranky any of us are. Plus--no sweat!! You almost don't realize you're working out. I also take the kids to the park and I get out there and play with them, not just sit on the sidelines and watch. I run up the slides, push them hard and high on the swings, I do pull-ups on the monkey bars and while playing peek-a-boo I sneek in squats.
Hope this helps ya out a bit honey! Remember--keep the faith in yourself first and keep fighting the good fight!
