Healthy Mama

I am working towards a totally healthy lifestyle. Like many, I have struggled with my weight, and am learning to not only get fit and healthy but realize WHY I have the bad eating habits that I do. This is a lifelong journey, and I am proud to be working on it.

Along with eating cleanly and working out, I am going to focus on my emotional eating habits, and work towards learning to control them, and have a more positive view of food and my body image.

My husband and I have recently started ChaLEAN Extreme (4/5). This is a 90 day workout program, that is so far, going great. Once this is complete we will likely repeat another round, or move on to P90X.

I'm looking forward to getting healthy, and tracking every step along the way.

My Goals:
My current goals include getting back on track with nutrition and fitness. I plan on losing some lbs, toning up, and looking and feeling my best!



My Program:
My program consists of tracking my fat, calories, protein, carbs and fiber daily.

I am striving for a split of 30% protein, 20% fat and 50% carb ratio.

In addition, getting in all my workouts each week.

I will drink lots of water, eat less processed foods, and eat more fruits and veggies

You have to stay in shape. My grandmother, she started walking five miles a day when she was 60. She's 97 today and we don't know where the hell she is.

I just logged back in for the first time since the super bowl. It's quite sad actually. The good news is I didn't go too crazy since then, but I can do better than 2 lbs in 2 months.
