Hello. My name is Amanda and I am 30 years old. A few years ago, I utilized Sparkpeople and lost over 70 pounds. I lost my motivation and fell back into old habits, regaining those 70 lbs. plus even more! I don't have any excuses. Yes, life is stressful, busy and unpredictable, but I shouldn't have let myself get back to that place. I often feel lonely, which is when I eat the most.
I have recently been to an OA meeting, where you have to admit that you are POWERLESS over food. I refuse to believe I am powerless over anything, especially with God watching over and guiding me. I can do this.
I am here for yet another try. As long as I'm trying, I'm not failing. My weight limits me in so many ways and it would be nice to just live life the way it was meant to be lived. I am a great person, but am so afraid to let it show sometimes because I am afraid of being criticized for my weight.
I currently work full time in marketing, am married, and have a 7 year old daughter. Whenever I put my mind to something, I always succeed, but have such a hard time when it comes to losing weight and staying on track.

- I will drink 6-8 cups of water per day

- will do my best to exercise & burn the recommended amount of calories
I like to spend time with family and friends, travel, go on road trips, shop, play blackjack, play tennis, arts & crafts, poems/writing, etc.
