2011 is going to be my year!

8/11/11 UPDATE: I've been doing BodyRock since around May 2011, but my diet has always been out of whack because I have a hard time with self control. When I got back from my vacation at the beginning of July, I kept up with BR, but started cleaning up my diet and started seeing some better results and faster. At the beginning of August, I dropped my carb intake by 30 grams a day and continue doing BR and am seeing even BETTER results! I'm so excited, I've never felt or looked like this before ...

My name is Amy and I'm 25 about to be 26 this summer. I feel as though I have filled this section out so many times with new information...

I have never been in the kind of shape I want... never overweight, but never comfortable in my own skin; kinda chunky and flabby and embarrassed to wear the clothes I want to wear.

I have been trying to get myself to get in shape since January 2011 and I'm still at 149lbs. I did Jillian Michael's 30 day shred and got nowhere. I'm now using the workouts from BodyRock.TV and they are great! I am seeing a little bit of a difference and have only been using them for a couple of weeks.

Really, I just want to be in great shape and not be embarrassed to wear a tank top or shorts or a bathing suit for that matter. I'm almost 26 and I've never felt 100% comfortable in my own skin and that's what I want.

If anyone needs a buddy, please hit me up, I could use some support or even a workout buddy if you're nearby!

Congrats on tossing the smokes you'll feel better not to mention you won't smell bad anymore...believe me I quit in March and now when people come into my office all dressed to the nine's and smelling of smoke I just smile and think of all the time and money I spent to look good BUT I SMELLED BAD. emoticon
