Making Me Over The Way I Want To Be!
After seeing my weight rise and my self-esteem plummet for ten years, I decided the wait-and-see approach wasn't working. The weight wasn't going to miraculously melt away, just as it "miraculously" appeared. Stumbling upon SparkPeople gave me the motivation to start and I haven't looked back. The weight wasn't going to miraculously melt away, just as it "miraculously" appeared. Stumbling upon SparkPeople gave me the motivation to start and I haven't looked back. I'm an artist, optimistic and determined. 2007 was the year for positive changes and 2008 and 2009 showed me I could keep it off and continue to lose. 2010 had it's ups and downs as well as a secret pregnancy. 2011 is the year my baby came and 2012 I continue my journey to post-pregnancy healthfulness. Sparkpeople made what could have been a stressful and disappointing journey into an incredibly easy one. I will meet my weight loss goal in early 2012. We are all stronger and more beautiful than we realize.

My Goals:
My overall goal is to be healthier and make my outsides match my insides. And make my insides as healthy as they can be. I weighed 280 pounds and my goal weight is 160 pounds. I'm losing the weight by balancing work and play. And why not make work into play?
My Program:
I'm eating healthier, making my own meals, exercising through activities I love and using every chance to make smarter and wiser choices. ie. more homemade, eating fresher organic foods, walking and biking, deciding on activity rather than inactivity. Personal Information:
Living on the edge of a bigger city, in a smaller city, in a townhouse with a cute backyard somewhere in the midwest. I've lived in a lot of different places and want to go to a lot more. I have a big family. When it's time for me to start my own, we'll keep the number low. For now it's me, my husband and two obsessive-compulsive cats.
