Own The Day

The failure isn't over confidence or lack of desire. My failure is in comparing myself to another me.

We are changing creatures who have very little in common with our past selves. Beyond a memory that links our metamorphosis day by day, our cells grow and die until we are entirely new beings. Our tastes evolve, our reasoning influenced, the people and habits we visit daily inevitably change. Why should we expect something that worked (or didn't) years ago to be exactly the same ...

Every day is new and with it an attempt to be the best me I can be.

If I get down to my goal weight, I'll cheer. If I lose one pound, I'll celebrate. If I stay the same size and tried my best, I'll be happy.
