The Raw Vegan Scientist

I love to experiment with my life, so this page is to document the changes I make with a raw vegan lifestyle. I'm also training for the Run for Your Lives 5k (a.k.a. the zombie run!). Keep in mind that these changes are made from the starting point of a 300 lb stressed out mother of four boys, not an actual scientist. I encourage you to do your own research on eating raw, but DO be thoroughly amused by my shenanigans.

My Goals:
Lose weight, get super strong, develop vegan super-powers, save the animals and the planet, run a 5k, play roller derby, survive the zombie apocalypse, be a good role model for my children or anyone really.

My Program:
I am following the 80/10/10 low fat raw vegan plan by Dr. Douglas Graham. I do yoga 6 days a week, strength train 3 days a week, and for now walking 2 miles 3x a week.

Personal Information:
I live in southwestern Missouri with my ridiculously loud family of all males, except for poor ol' me. I'm a homeschooling momma and aspiring writer.

Other Information:
I like cats, The Walking Dead, snow, vacations, and people who aren't afraid to be themselves. OH and sleep. Lots of sleep. Sprinkled all over the sundae of life.
