The time is now...

I setup a Spark account a while back but I'm determined to quit slacking and start utilizing it. I think I have a pretty realistic goal and I'm ready to start working towards it. Currently I have very little support which doesn't help my lacking motivation. I'm a "I'll start tomorrow" kinda person. I need to stop that! I'm looking for a workout buddy. Someone local to help keep me motivated.

My name is Amanda. I'm 28 and I live in the Marysville/Arlington (WA) area. I have a 6yr old son and we live with my boyfriend of 4yrs and his 2 children. I work all week and when I'm not working I'm taking care of kids. I love walks and hiking. I currently work out at PA Fitness in Marysville. Other then that I like music, movies and spending time with the family.

My Goals:
My overall goal is to lose 65lbs. I'd also like to live a healthier and more active lifestyle.

Long term goals:

Lose ALL 65lbs
Tone arms, legs and stomach
Become more active

Short term goals:

-15lbs *met on 3/29*
-20lbs by 4/25
-35lbs by Memorial day weekend
-45lbs by 4th of July
-65lbs by October 1st

My Program:
Here's what I'm gonna try out for the next few weeks and see how it fits with my schedule:

Gym 3-4 times a week.

Aqua Zumba 1 time a week.

Dance class 2 hours every other Friday night.

Walking 2 times a week.

FOOD:

Portion control and wise choices. I'm no good at counting calories and terrible at remembering to track on here. I don't eat sweets and cutting back and cutting out other foods that aren't the healthiest for me.

Personal Information:
I enjoy photography, music,hiking, camping, hanging out with my family & friends, going to swap meets, tattoos, etc.

Hey there! Didn't hear from ya' yesterday. I'm doing my obligatory day late check in :) Okay, had a really tough day yesterday and didn't do great. I will have to go in more detail later. Tonight my MIL wants to take us out to dinner to our favorite pizza place..err. Still going to hit the gym this weekend. Hmm, maybe I'll do a Sunday spin to make up for pizza tonight! I hope you are well!

So i have to admit last night we went out to eat BUT we split a meal so that helped reduce the calorie intake. Let me tell you, I was still super full!!!!!

Not going out to eat all the time definitely saves us money. Normall we would have gone out Friday and Saturday. So i put the money that we would have spent going out on friday into savings. We aren't going out to eat for another week. Well until Valentines day anyways....

How is your weekend going? Were you able to get to the gym? I went for a 5.8 walk yesterday! It was just so beautiful. Have you heard of the Burke-Gilman trail? Well that runs by my place. It was packed yester, everyone was out getting some Vitamin D.

Are you watching the super bowl? Not me, well I might catch the end of it when BF gets off work. I don't like either team, so point in watching it. i can catch all the new commercials online if i really want to. Plus i have to go grocery shopping for the week and a trip to Traget.
