My Goals:
-Not have people tell me I look like Russell from the Pixar movie 'UP.'

-Go sub-200 for the first time in....not sure how many years.

-Get my BMI out of the 'obese' range.

-Feel more confident
about myself.

-Set a good example for my boys, and give my wife something better to look at.

My Program:
-Keeping my daily caloric intake within a range that will allow gradual weight loss.
-Only drink water and milk (consistant but flexible with this one).
-Make daily decisions that increase my activity eg. take the stairs, walk to school, etc.
-Cardiovascular workout 3 times/week.
-Strength training 2-3 times/week.

Personal Information:
My wife and I are from Alberta, Canada but are currently living in Lexington, KY.
I am a dental student at the University of Kentucky.
My hobbies include golf, squash, outdoor cooking and knitting.
There is nothing I love more than being with my beautiful wife and our handsome little boys.

Thanks for your comment on my photo blog! As for the running, trust me, that's the least of it. If you ask around, you'll find almost everyone will tell you that it's damned difficult to lose a lot of weight when doing long distance endurance training. Both my wife and I deliberately slowed down weight loss because we were so hungry all the time, and in fact my wife put on some weight (a lot of it muscle).

I hope you and your family had a Happy New Year, and have a Great 2011!
