Nursing Graduate Committed to Regaining the Me I Am Meant to Be

I have gained and lost weight more times than I care to remember. After having lost my husband 5 years ago I have been on an emotional roller coaster and NOW,I am battling the 40 lbs I inherited from nursing school (recently graduated). I do not want to be an overweight nurse.I want to be the real me again....at 49. God help me!

Hi, I'm also a nursing student, better late than never as I'm a mom of 6, and waited for my turn. I am ready to stop the cycle of emotional eating/gaining that seems to be the norm for nursing students! Hope to get to chat with you!! Good luck!

Hi, My name's Lauren and I was looking back on my old Sparkpage Girlnamedromeo and I saw your comment from earlier this month

A surrender chip in general is used in the church group I'm apart of and most if not all recovery groups (AA, EA, NA) But it's a chip to symbolize the first 24 hours of sobriety away from in my case Overeating.
It was a tool for me that I could carry around and remind myself that I didn't need to overeat, that I didn't need to rely on food to help me get through my day.

I hope that answers your question emoticon
