1. Replace junk food snacks with healthy snacks.
2. Take my son on a walk every day, or replace with an indoor fitness activity if weather is not permitting.
3. Maintain a healthy weight (between 125 and 135)
4. Recruit and support my friends and family who want to start living healthier.
5. Keep a positive attitude and self image.
6. Cut back on alcohol consumption

My Program:
- Tracking fitness minutes

Personal Information:
My name is Amber and I live in Charles City, Iowa with my husband. I am 26 years old and am an the food manager at convenience store. I have a son named Rowan who was born in November 2013. I also have 3 dogs - a basset hound, a puggle, and a shih tzu.


Other Information:
I became a mom for the first time in November of 2013, and my whole world has changed for the better - now it's time to get back into shape and feeling better about my image.
I love animals, especially my doggies!
I also like to read. One of my favorite authors is Chuck Palahniuk (Fight Club), and my favorite series is Harry Potter. A few other favorites of mine include: White Oleander, and the Hunger Games series. I'm also obsessed with scary movies.

Amber, I can't thank you enough for telling me about SparkPeople. I have already lost 5 pounds since I joined SparkPeople. I have added some "low impact: aerobic exercises to help me burn calories and am working on stretching my 1200 caloric intake to high fiber foods that will help me feel fuller longer.

You are AWESOME!
