Shared Fitness Tracker
I'm Amber, I joined sparkpeople in 2009 but didn't stay with it, my life was full of turmoil and I was in a major depression after my only child, Adam, died playing the "choking game". I'm back now and ready to start over and get to be fit and healthy like I was working on when my son was alive. My son was my biggest cheerleader and I believe he still is just in a different form so now I rely on my workout partner, the best sister in the whole world to work out with me and encourage me. I wish everyone success in their journey to better health.
I disabled my food tracker because I'm using the bodybugg and have to account for my nutrition in their system in order for the machine to give accurate readings and don't want to have to input my food two times a day. I have left my fitness tracker open so I can have a weekly/monthly/yearly total for fitness minutes but I haven't been consistent in the last four months of 2011 of entering minutes because I enter the fitness minutes daily in my bodybugg to get accurate readings and I have to enter my minutes in noexcuseworkouts.com for my challenge minutes so adding them here is an added chore. The bonus for entering here is I can see my weekly/monthly/yearly total where I can't on the other two sites so I will try to be diligent in 2012.
The challenges are very motivating and I'm so very grateful for the people I have met along the way and for the people who put them together and the people that encourage and motivate one another.
I don't know if my weight would have continued to drop while sitting on the couch for 7 months healing (to date) without the challenges and working towards getting fitness minutes and keeping good nutrition habits. I'm very grateful for the 5% challenges and all of the support from the A Team.
