It's been 10 weeks since I started the Eat To Live diet and I must say, I feel like a whole new person. I've already lost 47 pounds! And I am exercising almost every day. I actually have energy and want to exercise! I love the way I feel and I'm only half way there! I can't wait to see what the future holds for me.
7/30/10 Week 16 and down 60 pounds! I've also started running!
8/13/10 Week 18 and down 65 pounds now! I'm getting stronger and stronger every day.
9/11/10 Week 22 and down 71 pounds! Started training for a 10k and very confident that I can do it! I'm really starting to enjoy running and my endurance is definitely improving. I ran 4 miles with my friend yesterday and we both kicked a**!
10/23/10 Week 28 and down 80 pounds! Woo Hoo! I'm also 19 days into the 30 day shred and still training for the race on Thanksgiving Day. At first I thought I had bit off more than I can chew, but I'm getting stronger and stronger every day.
12/05/10 Almost 8 months into my new lifestyle and I'm down 85 pounds. Just 10 pounds from my goal weight. I'm not sure what my weight will end up being, but my body will decide.

I ran my first race on Thanksgiving morning. I completed 10K in just over 62 minutes! I definitely want to do more races. It was a great experience.

5/6/11 A lot has happened since my last update. I reached my goal weight of 140 pounds and passed that goal to 135. I've officially lost 100 pounds now. In March I ran 15K in my local Shamrock run. It was definitely the hardest run I've done so far. A lot of hills involved, but a great experience. I'll be doing that run again next year.

Life is good. I'm still working on getting used to my new body. Some comments people make are a little hard to swallow. Most people think I've lost too much weight. It's funny how people don't make comments to your face when you're fat, but as soon as your a "normal" weight they think it's okay to talk about your weight. I try not to let it bother me too much though. I'm gonna keep eating healthy and exercising. It feels too good to quit now!

    Thanks for your page, it is giving me lots of hope. I'm really excited about the E2L diet, I should be getting the book in the mail any day now. I can't wait to start, I've been mostly a vegetarian but am eager to try a vegan food plan. Did you restrict your intake of beans, whole grains, and nuts to drop the weight so quickly? I'm sure the exercise helped a lot too. Take care, and have a wonderful week. Thanks for the inspiration.
