Hoping SparkPeople will help me to continue to loose weight, increase my fitness and maintain motivation in the long term. I have been dealing with issues of obesity and food addiction since I was 8 yrs old...and I'm now 48... I have come to see that this is a journey...and each day, I have the chance to use these challenges as an opportunity to learn and grow, to become more compassionate and loving towards myself and others...

My Goals:
Daily: 1. Meditate for 5 min 2. Take multivitamin 3. Record 8am BGL 4. Exercise for 10 min 5. Record food intake Weekly: Write 1 blog entry My short term weight loss goal is 4kg in 2 months. (I've already lost 15kg before joining SparkPeople) My long term goal is to reduce my HbA1C to 6.0 or under. Milestones: 25/7/13 - 115kg (first visit with Dr P) 10/3/13 - 100kg (joined SparkPeople) 20/3/13 - 99kg (-1kg)
My Program:
5-6 small meals/snacks per day with a focus on protein. Regular moderate exercise.
Personal Information:
I live in Australia on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
Other Information:
I love exercising to Disco music...takes me back to my teenage years :-)
