I hit my highest weight 30th Dec. 2012. I remember looking at the scale, my heart sinking with the realization I was at my highest weight ever. I logged onto SP after months away. I signed up for the SP Coach trial & after that ended, signed up for a year. I have dedicated myself to logging in and being persistent. As Octavia Butler said, "First forget inspiration. Habit is more dependable. Habit will sustain you whether you're inspired or not." She was talking about writing, but in my opinion it sums up other aspects like eating right and exercise. If I wait to feel inspired to lose weight, to eat right, exercise, plan and be accountable- then I may not always get the right conditions... but if I persist in doing these things regardless of my mood, I will make them habit. I therefore plan to make 2013, the year I put persistence in practice.

Thank you so much for your encouragement. New years day I was out of town at my in-laws house and they fixed amazing food and so I deviated a bit but today I'm on plan and loving it!
