Octavia Butler said, "First forget inspiration. Habit is more dependable. Habit will sustain you whether you're inspired or not." She was talking about writing, but in my opinion it sums up other aspects like eating right and exercise. If I wait to feel inspired to lose weight, to eat right, exercise, plan and be accountable- then I may not always get the right conditions... but if I persist in doing these things regardless of my mood, I will make them habit.
