I'm Back!!!

I'm 25 years old, and I have spent way too many years being unhappy with my weight. I refuse to spend the rest of my life being unhappy and unhealthy, so I am taking control now. I have over 100 pounds to lose, which seems insurmountable, so instead of being a slave to pounds, I'm going to concentrate more on getting my BMI to a healthy range.
I was on Spark People a few years ago, and it didn't really work. More specifically, I didn't really put IN the work. I left for about a year ...

I was on Spark People a few years ago, and it didn't really work. More specifically, I didn't really put IN the work. I left for about a year and a half to try something new, but that really wasn't working out for me either. So here I am, back to stick it out for good this time!

Personal Information:
I'm a Buffalo, NY native which means I love the snow, am a complete snob about wings and can weather a sports loss better then most.

I'm very sarcastic (in the best way) and like to make people laugh. If you are having a bad day I am not good to commiserate with, but I can cheer you up in no time.

I am a chatterbox, or a Flibbertigibbet (Google it!) and I can pretty much hold a conversation about anything and everything.

Other Information:
This tiny little box is in no way big enough to contain all of my favorite movies and books, so if you are really curious just ask!

Hi - read your post on the hoop beginners team but as I am not a member I can´t answer you there.
In my experience, once I "got it" it started to get better quickly. I am what you call a "fluffy" hooper and it wasn´t until I read Shannons post IIn Hula Hoopers All stars team) I realised that I might need even a bigger hoop than the "Professional" grown up hoop. So I made my own - it was GIGANTIC - and it worked. Before I made this I did 4-5 laps - and lost it. With the big hoop it was svery fast - ten - twenty, then I made a slightly smaller hoop (I am swedish and it is the metric system so I would not knowthe equivavence but it was 120 cm). and then it was from 20 to 50 to 100 laps and in on - three weeks I could waist hoop for thity minutes without dropping.

Happy Monday!! Another month is drawing to a close... I hope you are seeing progress on your journey...

Don't forget that the scale doesn't always tell the whole story. Have you measured yourself lately???

You may just be amazed at what you discover!
