Amazing Life

I live an ordinary amazing life with my excellent husband and four fantastic children. We are embarking on a life-changing, health-enhancing journey, and we are very enthusiastic! So far we are doing great!

Progress is steady and I am having a great time re-learning how to exercise. Update: I am stronger than I have ever been in my entire life! Just trying to get a grip on food! I like the whole food idea, and we eat that way a lot of the time anyway. Let's see where it takes us! ...

I have lost 62 pounds and i only have 11 more to go! I am not in a hurry though, because I am enjoying where I am now too.

Living in Montana has been a roller coaster so far. But overall we like it and we are happy in our town. The weather doesn't bother us California transplants. I'm sure some CAs would flinch, but we like the winter. Plus, I do a lot of indoor exercise so I don't have to change it up too much for the seasons.

We can't wait to see what God brings our way this year. We are hopeful!

My Goals:
Trying to lose the freshman 15 plus the honeymoon 15 plus the 5 that never went away after each of my four pregnancies. I think that makes 50.
Really I just want to be healthier so I can have more fun with my family.

So far so good, 62 gone, found another 11 that will take me to normal BMI.

My Program:
Eating better, oh and trying to move more. Since exercise has been nonexistent in my life for a while.

Update: I have been exercising regularly for over a year now! I feel much stronger and healthier. The scale moves very slowly for me, but I feel better. I am probably going to spend some effort on my diet so I can keep moving forward.
Update: I have been exercising for over 3 years now, and i finally got the scale to catch up, by tracking food and exercise. I feel very strong and I believe the way I live is going to keep me here.

Other Information:
Slow and steady wins the race! That is going to have to be my weight loss mantra!

Update: Sticking with this mantra. I see a lot more from here than if I hurry up. I know because I spent a lot of time going too fast through everything in college.

I am right there with you. Plus, it is dd2 6th bday party on Saturday and Sunday is the official bday and a family day. Then they have to start getting back to routine the week before. Mom needs two weeks....LOL

No more sodium!!! I CAN'T STAND IT ANYMORE. Travelling is so hideous in the sodium department. But I have been running, and kind of liking it...who knew?
