Stay-at-home mom in Ohio doing complete lifestyle makeover
I took some time off my diet and now I'm into time management, organization and productivity. I'm reading some great books on the subject. I organized an ideal daily schedule, and a daily habits list, and I put Spark People and diet/exercise on both of them. I started a new team, Time Management Organization Productivity Fans and am on the leaders team now.

My Goals:
My goal is to make a complete lifestyle makeover which includes mainly eliminating eating out (except for sushi which I adore) and lose 95 pounds at a pound a week. Smaller goals are: 1) Get up earlier in the morning at my alarm at 8-8.5 hours sleep 2) Walk 60 min a day in 10-15 minute spurts 3) Eat a diet in the Zone: 30-40-30 4) Track my food and exercise counts daily 5) Accumulate mega Spark points 6) Make new Friends (Friend me today!) 7) Give out Goodies 8) Long term aim: Be nominated as a Motivator 9) Find a buddy to be accountable to (if interested, send me an e-mail) 10) Eat half my carb calories in fruits and vegetables or barley or oats (favorable carbs), and only half bread or processed foods
My Program:
To do this I am eating 1,800 calories a day and walking 60 minutes a day, in 10 minute durations. I'm on the Zone diet, and starting on aspects of the Blood Sugar Solution book diet . I am using the site's features to set up small, medium and large goals, and tracking my daily efforts as well as online tracking of nutrition and exercise. I am also following the lifestyle change program in my favorite goal-setting book "How to Get What You Want" by Raymond Hull (out-of-print). I really recommend this book if you want an easy program of achieving using written affirmation like exercises and a few experiments in controlling your thinking and collecting and organizing useful ideas.
Personal Information:
I'm from Canada and am staying in the US on a Green Card status and hope to become a citizen in the next three years. I have a husband and son who I hope will support me, plus an adorable cat which is a mix of Tortoise-Shell and Tabby which is very beautiful and soft.
Other Information:
I'm interested in frugal grocery shopping (healthy food costs so much money) and computers. I've taken all the programming courses at Columbus State Community College. I adore chocolate, which got me into this mess. For music, I like the Guess Who and other classic early 70's rock bands. I like huddling and like to make my huddles like Tweets.
