Becoming a new Mommy and continuing my Spark!

In the next few weeks I will be having my first baby and couldn't be happier with this change in my life. Although I went into this pregnancy with the idea that I would be active all the way through and would control my weight gain I have had my issues. Right now I have gained 45 lbs. since my first OB appointment in July and although I'm not very happy about it I'm also not beating myself up about it. I am planning ahead to when I will be able to get back on track and hopefully will be taking ...

Although I went into this pregnancy with the idea that I would be active all the way through and would control my weight gain I have had my issues. Right now I have gained 45 lbs. since my first OB appointment in July and although I'm not very happy about it I'm also not beating myself up about it. I am planning ahead to when I will be able to get back on track and hopefully will be taking several daily walks within weeks of giving birth. I will continue to add to my daily activities as I feel physically capable to.

I am still in the 5% Challenges and this will be my 5th one starting on the 18th of this month. I wasn't going to sign-up for this one but I decided that it may be just what I need to get my focused and back on track with my goals to lose this baby weight while my body is prepared for it. I do plan to join the gym at some point but I will wait until I feel that I can take advantage of what the gym has offer instead of making myself feel obligated to go even if I don't feel up to it. I have a treadmill at home and lots of other useful workout equipment and DVDs that I can use in the meantime. I am also planning to do some of the 30 day challenges at first to get into a routine and build momentum in the beginning since most of those challenges only have 10 minute workouts and I feel that will be a little more my speed at first.

Get down to under 140 and stay there.

Lose Pregnancy weight gain by 8/14.

Eat healthy for breastfeeding.

Be a healthy mother.

12,000 Steps a Day

Resume hiking on Sunday's as soon as physically able.

Other outdoor activities as possible.

Eat as healthy as I can/ Clean when possible

Personal Information:
Married just over 2 years.

Almost a new mommy.

Have an office job so I sit for most of the day but I'm doing what I can to increase my movements throughout the day with the help of my Fitbit One.

Other Information:
I like to read, dance, listen to music, and go to the movies. I am crazy in love with my DH.
