I AM ready.
8/1/11 I read the book "Why We Get Fat" by Gary Taubes in April and my life has changed since. I have been learning to live the Low Carb Life. I'm feeling great - tons more energy now that I'm no longer in a Carb Coma. I realized it is the starches and sugars that make me bloat, not salt. The scale is just now starting to reflect all the changes I've made, but I'm being patient and learning a lot about how my body reacts to different foods. Calories in does NOT equal calories out! ...
11/30/10 I've done P90X for a month and have seen what weight training can do for me. I'm a lot stronger than I give myself credit for! I like my arm muscles. It took a while to see the definition, but it's amazing what a difference a month makes! 7/22/09 I went away on a 3 week vacation to Scotland. I was active almost everyday. Since I've been back (14 days), I have made it a priority to fit exercise into my day. I know there will be some impossible days, but they should be far and few between. I've only missed 2 and plan to keep that number low. I feel great and am starting to see a difference in my muscles. Scotland was a great spring board for me. 12/9/08 I gained 30# in 3 years, and it's been about a year of trying different things to lose it. I'm down 5#, but my problem is consistency. I'm going to see if this gives me the motivation I need to keep it up.
