I need to start all over again. This past winter was rough and i really didn't treat my body very well. It's now Spring and i am starting fresh. I just kinda let my self go over the winter. Sure, i exercised here and there and ran outdoors when i could, but i really dropped the ball w/ eating and drinking. I know how to eat and drink healthy and i just wasn't caring. Now i care and am hoping and praying for the strength to stick with it.

My Goals:
1. To run oudoors this winter.
2. To be stronger.
3. To limit my alcohol consumption and the 4th meals that often follow.

My Program:
Now that it's nicer outdoors, i will return to running at least 3 days a week. I am also committing to the gym 2 times a week. I will not mindlessly snack at home on un-healthy foods. I will not drink alcohol at home on weeknights.

Personal Information:
I am a Northern Illinois gal. Married w/ 3 cats and a dog. I work full-time at a job that is less than satisfying. I am hoping for a career change, but the economy is not making it easy. I had gotten pretty lazy, but that has all changed since i joined the gym in April 09. The older i've gotten, it just keeps getting harder to lose the pounds, and they creep up on me so much faster.
I am a pescatarian (seafood eating-vegetarian) and i love to cook and try new recipes. I love making different ethnic dishes and new vegetarian twists on old favorites.

    Bad knees are hard to overlook. I've noticed mine have hurt more this week, so I needed a rest day. Do as much as you can without hurting yourself.
