My Goals:
It would be an understatement to say that I "let myself go" since getting married 7 years ago. I got lazy, and after having two beautiful little girls (2005, 2008), I focused on everything except for my health. I am ready to go, and hoping the moms in my local MOPS group will join up to form a SparkTeam and get moving with me! Let's go, girls!

My Program:
My family JUST joined the gym last week after much encouragement from my friends. I am committing to do the gym's "fitness university" twice a week, which is weight training. I am hoping I can also make it in at least 2 other days a week for cardio. Hard to schedule when you've got kids, but as Tim Gunn says, "Make it Work!"

Personal Information:
Born in New Mexico, Live in Virginia. Married for 7 years. Have two beautiful girls: 2 1/2 and 7 months. Two dogs: a pomeranian and a "dingo" that we are dogsitting for my sister, who is a nurse in the AF in Iraq right now. I am a Christian, and am trying to become more active in my church. I want to grow in my walk with Jesus, as much as I am wanting to grow in a healthy lifestyle. I LOVE my local MOPS group.

Other Information:
I love:
TV (Grey's Anatomy, LOST, Project Runway, Ugly Betty, The Office, So You Think You Can Dance)

Welcome to Spark. You have made a wise choice. We are given so much information here to help us along the way. That is an adorable baby, but you had better get the other child's picture in there too so we can see that one too. I do hope that you are going to chose a team. It is so great to chat with others who are going through the same thing as you are. I belong to one here and one that is mostly for handicapped. I like the not having too many teams because you don't really get close to the members that way. I belong to Achieving Success with Determination. We share what is going on in our lives, as those things determine or help to determine how we manage losing. We vent, cheer and support each other. You have many teams to chose from so do consider it. Come drop in on my Spark page whenever you have time. Hugs, Betty
